A Foodie Review: Rickaroons Rock!
In my perpetual stumbles around the web I started following health foodie, Sarah Stanley, who posted a delicious looking pic of some concoction called Rickaroons. I was intrigued, so I went exploring. It turns out that these treats are 100% organic, gluten free and vegan. Since I'm trying to be more aware of what I put into my body (food is fuel, right?), I like that Rickaroons are made of 4 simple, natural ingredients. Plus, what's not to love about coconut, dark chocolate, almond butter, and vanilla extract?! Things that I love on their own must only be better when combined. I decided to taste test them and ordered up a dozen of the variety pack. After salivating over the pictures online, I squealed a little when the box arrived at my desk.
Verdict: DELICIOUS. They don't taste like protein bars or health food paste or anything else repulsive. They taste amazeballs. They are the perfect size and have just enough protein to take those inevitable 3pm hangry feelings away. For those of you on the calorie-counting train, they are all under 151 calories per treat. If you're a WW follower like myself that translates to only 4 points. And trust me, they're worth every bite. I highly recommend them, my friends.
